Zelda Wong Wild Chervil Jewellery at Plush Jewellery
We’ve been working with Zelda Wong for quite a while; she is a jewellery designer who produces beautiful pieces of jewellery with a botanical theme.
Originally from Macau, Zelda moved to England thirteen years ago. Living in Yorkshire and the Midlands, Zelda fell in love with the English countryside and gardens. During an English summer, everything is so lively and beautiful but an English summer is often short. Zelda Wong’s designs of botanical forms try to capture the everlasting beauty of flowers and plants.
In her new range for 2009, Zelda has taken inspiration from Wild Chervil. Commonly known as Cow Parsley and often seen as a weed, Zelda has transformed the plant into beautiful, wearable and unique pieces of jewellery. The fragile short-lived plant becomes an everlasting, collectable piece of jewellery.
Each piece is handmade in sterling silver and is set with a freshwater pearl (of course, should you wish, you can have your Wild Chervil piece made without a pearl, or set with a dark pearl if you prefer). The Wild Chervil Stud Earrings are exclusive to us at Plush Jewellery and we absolutely love them, they’re cute, funky and gorgeous.
